Hey Girl....

Hello!
Here it is.

Friday the 27th I went to "Baby Wants Candy" with Nick, Cyril, Brett, and Greg. It's an improv group from Chicago. They were hilarious. "We're sorry Indians and thank you for your awesome forgiveness" was quite a number, along with the numerous alludes to Brokeback Mountain. Bed early for...

Saturday's OAC Relays in Marietta. I think I ran an 11:34 3000m. Felt pretty good. That night was pretty boring. We got home and things pretty much fell through.

Sunday I lifted and swam with the boys. Went to 6:30pm Mass with Greg, then Brett and Juker's to watch TV.

The next Wednesday was our first practice at Case. I slept through the 1pm van so I went at 2pm. 16x200s. Yay.

Friday the 3rd was the Case Invite. I was happy with my time but not really my race. 5th place with an 11:27. After that we went to Brett and Juker's and layed around until about 2am then came home.

Saturday was the most rainy, crappy long run. Yuck. Eight cold wet miles by myself. 4:30pm Mass at Gesu. That night, Brett drove me, Juker, and Nick to go bowling, meeting up with Hobes, Henry, and Greg. I bowled a 103!... then like a 70 something. I'm real consistant. Hoban on the other hand was incredible. Juker got four strikes in a row, then hit gutter ball after gutter ball. We split up after that and some of us went back to Brett and Juker's and some hit the bars. I got a call at 2am and picked them up. It was hilarious. Taco Bell all around. And Juker DEMANDING that I spend the night. Hoban thinking how positively hilarious it would be if he passed out on me in the drive thru window. Greg asking how I would react to him covering my eyes while driving. Good times.

Sunday was the Super Bowl. Me and Nick went shopping with Brett for party food and the bill was $100. Started cooking the goodness and I basically missed the game being a mom. Then Cyril took me and Gina back around 9pm. I went to his neighbor's house. It was nuts over there. Then met Gina for 10pm Mass. Yes, we are awesome. InnBetween afterwards with John Bednar, Pat Range, Gina, Cyril, and I. "No caffine for me, thanks. I need to sleep well tonight... I'll just eat these two king sized candy bars instead."

Monday I worked on hurdles for steeplechase with coach! Wow that was scary at first but now I'm so excited for it! Oh, except that my body didn't like it that much... That night I went to Little Italy for the first time! I got pizza at Mama SANTA's with Warren. Yum.

Tuesday I did a LOT more hurdle drills. Ouch. Sore.

Wednesday was the OAR CONCERT! :) Naturally I Red Hotted my legs (for reasons of hurdling and 12x400s), made friends with Antwan at the BP, and enjoyed the company of Pat Kelly and Mr. Christopher Kempf. The opening band was great, as was OAR. Oh, we saw pseudo-Greg and pseudo-drunk-Nickleback-lead-singer-who-thought-his-thick-body-and-lanky-flailing-legs-were-welcome-in-my-face-as-he-attempted-crowd-surfing-over-and-over-again. And we met the crazy roadie from Buffalo who whispered into my ear "This is the part where the ninja comes out..." and then a ninja came out and played tamborine. Meanwhile my legs were engulfed in Red Hot flames and I spit my gum in someone's hood. Ohhh Hey Girl was such a great number. As was the new stuff, which I'm a huge new fan of. Great night. I heart OAR.

Friday was the BW meet. Ran a 5:45 mile and a 3:26 1000m. Short stuff! Got home relatively early for a Friday night meet, even with stopping at the classiest, most gold embossed McDonalds complete with harmonica-playing old man inside. But we didn't capitalize well with the night ahead of us. We watched TV in Nick's room. Spent the night at Gina's because WALT was here!

Saturday I did my long run. Got some Arabica with Nick, ran into John Bednar who took us out to Legacy Village to the bookstore. We killed a couple hours in there then walked back for dinner. Warren picked me up later that night and we went back out to Little Italy for cannolis. Delish. Back to his house, but we avoided the freshman frenzy downstairs and instead hung out with Zach in his room. Eventually Betsy came over so we went next door to her house. Betsy did a water power hour and we eventually the four of us fell asleep to Norah Jones.

Sunday I woke up to Norah Jones, the sounds of the boys cooking french toast, and the smoke detector going off. Ahh glorious. Fabulous breakfast though. Then I went and lifted, ran into the guys, and swam for a bit. Somehow, hours and hours passed and Mgt called. Pat was staying another night! So we capitalized on that and he drove Mgt, Jason, Nick, and I out to Mongolian BBQ for my first experience! Amazing is all I can say. Amazing and three plates of heaven topped with a Mongolian Mud Pie, split with Jason. Ohh wow. I felt that I could go into hibernation after that. Ate enough for the winter. I screamed death when the boys tickled me in the car. I hate that (screaming death and getting tickled). Brary-ed after that, then 10pm Mass. Great music! InnBetween afterwards. Now you're all caught up! This was a lame, sloppy post :) Goodnight!!
